I am a Christian, a sinner saved by God’s amazing grace. I started this blog in 2008 with the main objective to “proclaim the praises” of the One who called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light! (1 Peter 2:9)

As to my everyday life, I am the wife of a theology professor and author, the mom of two young adults, and the executive assistant to the senior pastor at our church.

This is a place where I come to reflect, to sit in silence and write, to give words to the fullness of life I have found in Christ, and to praise Him for His salvation and wondrous acts. I hope to do this through:

• Recording stories of God’s faithfulness — “stones of remembrance” — for my children and the next generation (Joshua 4, Psalm 79:13, Psalm 78:4).
• Telling of the greatness of God, who He is, and the reality of His powerful work in the world and in our lives (Psalm 145:6).
• Sharing what God is revealing through the study of His Word (2 Timothy 2:15).

My prayer is that God would be praised, exalted, and glorified in this space.
