Thanks for stopping by.
I am a Christian, a sinner saved by God’s amazing grace. I started this blog in 2008 with the main objective to “proclaim the praises” of the One who called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light! (1 Peter 2:9)
As to my everyday life, I am the wife of a theology professor, the mom of two teenagers, and the executive assistant to the senior pastor at our church.
This is a place where I come to reflect, to sit in silence and write, to give words to the fullness of life I have found in Christ, and to praise Him for His salvation and wondrous acts. I hope to do this through:
- Recording stories of God’s faithfulness — “stones of remembrance” — for my children and the next generation (Joshua 4, Psalm 79:13, Psalm 78:4).
- Telling of the greatness of God, who He is, and the reality of His powerful work in the world and in our lives (Psalm 145:6).
- Sharing what God is revealing through the study of His Word (2 Timothy 2:15).
My prayer is that God would be praised, exalted, and glorified in this space.
If you don’t know Jesus personally, find out here how you can know God. He is the One who created us, loves us, became man, lived a perfect life, gave His life for us, and rose again. By faith in Him, He forgives us of our sins and gives us new life now and eternally.
